Home, sweet home - Part II

So, it's funny how things work out sometimes. We have a new house. Yeah, that's right. Elliot and I haven't even arrived yet and we're already moving! Dusty met an expat from the Netherlands at the Internet cafe he frequents, and it turns out the guy and his wife have a house in Kumasi (he's married to a Ghanaian woman) that they use when they come down on holiday and he's looking for someone to stay in it. "Just come and see it!" Ed says. So Dusty did. And now you can too! Welcome to our "new" new home away from home.

So there you have it. We will be moving in once Elliot and I arrive and staying with Ed's wife for a few days until she heads back to Europe. That way we can go over things and make sure we are taking care of the house the way they want it, etc. As for the other house, well Dusty is going to work on that, but since this house comes with everything, if it came right down to it, we won't be paying any extra to stay here over what it would have cost us to furnish the original place. I can't wait to see it in person!

Wow!! Talk about moving up in the world before you even moved!!! The new place even has a backyard for Elliot. You should have no problem convincing family to visit now!!!
